Conceptual Site Model

The sectional relationship of where the mass pike cuts through Back Bay and  has been a recent fascination.  Not only does it represent a visible void within the urban fabric by disrupting the strong street wall condition along Mass Ave. but it also divides Newbury St. from Boylston St.  Calling out this void as well as conceiving the city as a continuous landscape were the two initial goals of this site model.
