The Problem
Companies such as Carvana, Vroom or even Tesla are rapidly changing the way cars are bought and sold in the US by selling online. There currently is no way for a dealerships to stand up their own e-commerce site to sell their own cars due to an enormous amount of complexity and regulation within the industry. Our goal is to change that.
The Setup
A two year engagement to design and implement a leading automotive business’ vision to transform the industry by creating a white-label experience for dealerships to sell vehicles online. This would not only digitize their existing workflow, but also automate the process—including an AI capable of handling all of the financial decisioning.
This was a multiphased project focused on iterative design sprints. The first phase—our MVP—focused on digitizing their existing workflow on our new online platform. Phase two was focused on making their processes more efficient by layering in automation and AI features.
